Employer's liability for compensation for injury.- If personal injury is caused to a porter by accident arising out of his employment as porter or in the course of his training for employment as porter, his employer shall be liable to pay compensation and such compensation shall be assessed on the scale of rates of compensation prescribed for similar injuries under the Workman Compensation Act, 1923 (8 of 1923).
