The Registrar.—(1) The Registrar shall be appointed by the Chancellor in such manner and on such terms and conditions of service as may be specified by the statutes. (2) The Registrar shall have power to enter into agreement, contract, sign documents and authenticate records on behalf of the University and shall exercise such powers and perform such duties as may be specified by the statutes. (3) The Registrar shall be the Member-Secretary of the Governing Body, Board of Management and Academic Council, but shall not have the right to vote.
