Repeal and savings.- East Punjab Armed Bands (Arrest and Detention) Act, 1947 (11 of 1947) is hereby repealed: H. P. ARMED BANDS (ARREST AND DETENTION) ACT, 1969 4 Provided that anything done or any action taken (including any order made, notification or direction issued, detention camp established or proceedings commenced or continued) under any of the provisions of the said Act shall be deemed to have been done or taken under the corresponding provision of this Act. -----------
