Bar of suits or other legal proceedings.- (1) No suit, prosecution or legal proceedings shall lie against the State Government or any officer of the State Government in respect of anything in good faith done or intended to be done under this Act or for any damage to property caused by any action taken in good faith in carrying out the provisions of this Act. (2) No prosecution under this Act shall be commenced without the previous sanction of the Collector or other officer authorised by the State Government in this behalf nor after three months from the date of the commission of the alleged offence.
