Term of office of the Chairman and the non-official members of the board.- (1) The Chairman and the non-official members of the Board shall hold office during the pleasure of the State Government. In the event of super session of the committee from where the members have been nominated in the Board, the concerned member shall cease to be a member of the Board. (2) The tenure of the Vice-Chairman and ex-officio members of the Board shall come to an end as soon as he ceases to hold the office by virtue of which he was nominated. (3) Whenever there is a temporary vacancy in the office of the Chairman, the Vice- Chairman shall act as the Chairman during the vacancy.
