(1) Any offence made punishable under this Act may, either before offences. or after the institution ofprocedngs, be compounded by the Authority or by any person autborised by the Authority in this behalf. (2) Where an offence has been compounded, the offender, if in custody, shall be discharged and no further proceedings shall be taken against him in respect of the offence compounded. MISCELLANEOUS
