Notwithstanding anything contained in the Municipal Act, whenever any street alignment has been specified by the trust in any scheme under this Act with the sanction of the State Government, the committee shall not have power to specify a building line for the street within the limits of the scheme, and any such line previously specified by the Committee within such limits shall cease to be the building line or line of frontage of the street.
