(1) The University shall carry out such directions as may be issued to it, from time to time, by the State Government for the efficient administration of this Act. (2) The State Government may, at any time, either on its own motion or on application made to it in this behalf, call for the record of any case disposed of, or order passed by the University for the purpose of satisfying itself as to the legality or propriety or correctness of any order passed or directions issued and may pass such order or issue such direction in relation thereto, as it may think fit: Control by State Government. 222 HARYANA GOVT. GAZ., (EXTRA.), NOV. 28, 2016 (AGHN. 7, 1938 SAKA) Provided that the State Government shall not pass any order adversely affecting any person without affording such person an opportunity of being heard. (3) The State Government may depute any officer to inspect or examine the University or its development work and to report thereon and the officer so deputed may, for the purposes of such inspection or examination, call for- (a) any extract from any proceeding, record, correspondence, plan or other documents of the authority or any committee constituted under this Act; (b) any return, estimates, statement of accounts, statistics; (c) any report, and the University shall furnish the same. Protection of action taken in good faith.
