(1) Each college shall comprise such Departments, as may be prescribed. (2) There shall be a Head of each Department, who shall be responsible to the concerned Deans for instruction; to the Director of Research for research work; and Director of Extension Education for extension education. (3) The Head of the Department shall be selected by the Vice-Chancellor and appointed by him with the approval of the Board, in the manner, as may be prescribed.
