(1) The State Government shall remove a member if he,- (a) becomes an undischarged insolvent; (b) is convicted and sentenced to imprisonment for an offence which in the opinion of the State Government involves moral turpitude; (c) becomes of unsound mind and stands so declared by a competent court; (d) refuses to act or becomes incapable of acting; (e) is, without obtaining leave of absence from the Council, absent from three consecutive meetings of the Council. (2) On a controversy regarding the disqualification of a member, the decision of the Chief Minister shall be final. (3) No person shall be eligible to be nominated as a member of the Council unless he is a graduate. Removal of member.
