(1) The Board or the officer authorized by it, shall appoint pujaris of the Shrine and in making such appointment, he shall have due regard to the claims of persons belonging to the religious denomination for whose benefit the Shrine is mainly maintained. (2) A pujari shall hold office for a term of five years, unless in the meanwhile he is removed or dismissed or his resignation is accepted by the Board or the officer authorized by it or he otherwise ceases to be a pujari. (3) A pujari shall be eligible for re-appointment.
