The Government may give to the Board such directions a; in,, its opinion are necessary or expedient for carrying out the purposes of:, ' this Act. After giving an opportunity to the Board to state its objections, i f any, and after considering the said objections, the Government may drop, modify or c o n M m the directions whereafter it shall be the -duty of the Board to comply- with such directions.
