The District Registrar may, upon an application in writing by any Society and on sufficient cause being shown, allow further time to such Society to comply with any of the provisions of the Act on payment of such late fees, as may be prescribed: Provided that the extended period so allowed shall not be more than the time permissible under the Act or the rules made thereunder for any such compliance.
