ACT 471 LIVESTOCK AND BIRDS- DISEASES 157 (aa) 'bird' means a domesucafed fowl, goose or chick, and includes such other bird as may from time to time be specified by the Slate Gover~nent by notification ; (A) 'an infective' '[livestock ar birds'j is onc which is affcc~ed with a schcduied disease or has recently been in contact with or in close proximity to '[livestock or bird] so affected ; (c] 'ptcscri bed' means prescribed by regulations or mIes made under this Act; (d) 'schcdulcd disease' means any disease for the time being included in the schedule in Appendix I .
