Act 17] LABOUR WELFARE FUND THE PUNJAB LABOUR WELFARE FUND ACT, 1965 (Punjab Act.No.17of 1965) [As amended upto March 14, 2019] 1[Received the assent of the President of India on the 17th July, 1965, and first published for general information in the Punjab Government Gazette (Extraordinary), Legislative Supplement, Part I, of July 27, 1965.] An Act to provide for the constitution of a Fund for the financing of activities to promote welfare of labour in the State of Punjab and for conducting such activities and for certain other purposes. Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Punjab in the Sixteenth Year of the Republic of India as follows :--
