Penalty for obstructing Inspector. -- Whoever willfully obstructs an Inspector in the exercise of any power conferred on him by or under this act or intentionally omits to produce on demand in writing by and Inspector any register, record or notice in his custody which may be required to keep in pursuance of this Act or of any rule made thereunder, shall be punishable with imprisonment for a term which may extend to three months, or with fine which may extend to five hundred rupees or with both.
