(1) The age of superannuation of the member of service in the University shall be of 62 years. [15](2) In case of teacher imparting Medical and Dental Education, working under the administration of Pt. B.D. Sharma University of Health Sciences, Rohtak, the superannuation age shall be of 65 years. It is further clarified that teachers imparting Nursing, Pharmacy and Physiotherapy education etc. are excluded from this proviso. [19] The age of superannuation of the members of service in the University shall be as under:- (to be applicable w.e.f. 31.5.2018) (i) Age of superannuation for teachers (medical doctors only) having MBBS/MS/MD/PG Diploma/ DM/M.Ch. etc. qualification in Pt. B.D. Sharma University of Health Sciences, Rohtak and its constituent college, Post Graduate Institute of Medical Sciences, Rohtak shall continue to be 65 years. The age of superannuation in respect of members of teaching (teachers) in PGIMS, Rohtak and PGIDS, Rohtak requiring BDS/MDS etc. qualifications and in the College of Nursing, College of Physiotherapy and College of Pharmacy not having medical qualifications, such as MBBS/MS/ MD/PG Diploma/DM/M.Ch. etc. shall be lowered to 58 years. (ii) The superannuation age for teachers having M.Sc./Ph.D. qualification and not having MBBS/MS/MD/PG Diploma/ DM/ M.Ch. etc. qualification shall be 58 years. (iii) Medical doctors having MBBS/MS/MD/PG Diploma/DM/ M.Ch. etc. qualifications and to be appointed on non-teaching posts, such as Medial Officer/General Duty Medical Officer/ Casualty Medical Officer etc. shall superannuated at the age of 58 years. However, the University can re-employ them as consultant’s upto the age of 65 years on the formula of last pay drawn minus pension and equivalent of commutation of pension. (iv) With regard to teachers and non-teaching staff to be appointed at State Institute of Mental Health, teachers having MBBS/MS/MD/PG Diploma/ DM/M.Ch. etc. essential qualification shall continue to superannuate on completion of 65 years age. However, teachers in the State Institute of Mental Health not having essential medical qualifications, 56 such as MBBS/MS/MD/PG Diploma/DM/M.Ch. etc. shall superannuate at the age of 58 years. Non-teaching staff to be appointed in future in the State Institute of Mental Health shall also superannuate on attaining the age of 58 years. (v) Age of superannuation for all Group A, B and C employees of para–medical, nursing and other technical staff etc. shall be 58 years. (vi) Age of superannuation for administrative and ministerial Group A, B and C staff shall be 58 years and for Group-D shall be 60 years. However, Physically challenged employees of Group-A, B and C shall continue to superannuate at the age of 60 years and Physically challenged employees of Group-D shall superannuate at the age of 62 years as per instructions issued by General Administration Department (CS Office) Govt. of Haryana in this regard. All the above changes in the age of superannuation shall be applicable from prospective date. The existing employees i.e. who are already in the roll of University prior to date of notification of such change in age of superannuation shall continue to serve upto the existing age of superannuation.
