Act to override other laws. Save as otherwise expressly provided in this Act, the provisions of other laws. this Act shall have effect notwithstanding anything inconsistent therewith con-tained in any other law for the time being in force, or any customs or usage or any instrument having effect by virtue of any such law or any decree or order of any court or other authority. l[1(~JA. Probation of Offenders Act, 1958, not to apply to persons above the age of fourteen years. The provisions of the Probation of Offenders Act, 1958 (20 of 1958) shall not apply to any person above the age of fourteen years who is found guilty of having committed any offence punishable under this Act
