Every university established by an Act of the State Legislature under section 6, shall be a body corporate by the name, as specified in the Act, and shall have perpetual succession and a common seal. It shall have the power to acquire and hold property both moveable and immoveable and to make contract, and shall sue, and be sued by the said name. University to be self- financed.
