The uniform of female warder shall be as under :- Winter Khaki beret cap with departmental badge, khaki kurta and salwar in summer and Angola khaki and salwar in winter (or serge khaki trouser and Angola khaki shirt as per male warder) with full sleeves, brown leather brass clasp with letters H.J. belt, khaki woolen socks in winter and nylon socks in summer, brown derby shoes ( with toe cap), Khaki lanyard with brass whistle and medal ribbons, plastic name plate (Bilingual- Hindi and English) in white letters on black background, great coat on police pattern. Police pattern/Khaki Summer Same as winter except that they will wear khaki terrycot or cotton trousers and shirt or kurta and salwar (sleeves rolled or half sleeves) and nylon/cotton khaki socks. Police pattern/Khaki NOTE: - The uniform of a female Head Warder shall be the same as prescribed for female Warders with the three chevrons on both of the sleeve above elbow. Dress allowance. 938. (1) The uniform allowance, washing allowance, stitching allowance, shoe allowance, uniform articles allowance, kit maintenance allowance etc. shall be subsummed in the ‘Dress allowance’. (2) The ‘Dress allowance’ shall be fixed by the government from time to time as per rank and requirement of their uniform.
