The Superintendent shall keep or cause to be kept, the following records, namely: - (a) register of prisoners admitted; (b) book showing when each prisoner is to be released; (c) punishment book for the entry of punishments inflicted on prisoners for prison offences; (d) visitor’s book for the entry of any observations made by the visitors touching any matters connected with the administration of the prison; (e) record of the money and other articles taken from prisoners; (f) all such other records as may be specified by the Government or the Director General from time to time.
