(1) Besides supervisors within the prison, help and training shall also be sought from agricultural Universities, nearby institutes and even local farmers to improve the skills of prisoners, in modern methods of agriculture and agro based industries. (2) The land available with an institution shall be thoroughly surveyed in terms of soil analysis, availability, fertility, salinity and requirement of drainage, so that it is put to optimum use.
