Over the door of every ward and other compartment ordinarily used as sleeping accommodation for prisoner shall be inscribed the following particulars, namely :– (a) superficial floor-area stated in square feet; (b) amount of air-space it contains stated in cubic feet; and (c) number of prisoners, calculated on the superficial area or cubic space, whichever is less, which it is capable of accommodating. NOTE. - Ordinarily, the number of prisoners confined in a housing unit shall not exceed its authorized accommodation but in no case shall be greater than one hundred fifty percent of authorized accommodation.
