(1) On the recapture of a prisoner, the fact shall be notified to the Director General, District Magistrate, District and Sessions Judge and the Superintendent of Police immediately. (2) A recaptured prisoner may be admitted into and detained in prison in the authority of his original warrant and the time he was atlarge does not count as sentence served. (3) Every prisoner who at any time escapes or attempts to escape from any custody in which he is lawfully detained after admission to prison, shall if he is of the casual class forthwith be removed from that class and be placed in the habitual class.
