(1) The Director General may exercise all or any powers of the Superintendent with respect to the administration of prisons. (2) The Director General on case to case basis, may authorize any officer of the rank above the Superintendent to exercise all or any powers of the Superintendent with respect to the administration of prisons. Supply of articles to prisons and sale of manufactured articles.
