(1) Engineers of Public Works Department, Public Health Department, Haryana Police Housing Corporation and their employees or vendor or vendor’s staff, vendor or vendor’s staff of the Department during working hours may have access to the prison to such extent as may be necessary for purposes connected with their authorized work. Advance intimation of such visits shall be given to the Superintendent. (2) The Civil Surgeon/Chief Medical Officer, Medical Officer and paramedical staff deputed by him in connection with the health care of prisoners may also have access to the prison hospital and prison premises as required.
