The following shall be the general duties of medical subordinate staff, namely:– (a) collection and examination of laboratory samples and sending of such samples to civil hospital laboratory if no laboratory exists in prison hospital; (b) collection of reports of laboratory samples and their submission to the Medical Officer; (c) operating X-ray machines, ultrasound scanning equipment, ECG machines etc. (d) Pharmacy Officer to provide medicine in the absence of Medical Officer; HARYANA GOVT.
