(1) All movements of prisoners shall be conducted in an orderly and regular manner, under strict control. During lockout time, the prisoners shall remain in the courtyard areas of their barracks. Prisoners in each unit block shall be given separate timings for coming into the central courtyard for relaxation, games or visiting hospitals, canteen, interview, etc. (2) The Superintendent shall fix a detailed schedule regarding the movement of prisoners for their daily activities such as Prison Inmates Calling System, canteen, hospital, educational and vocational classes, cultural and spiritual activities apart from Court appearances, interviews, and video conferencing or any other work/activity. (3) The Superintendent shall appoint an officer not below the rank of Head Warder as in- charge of the central control room, who shall, under the immediate supervision of the Deputy Superintendent (Security), ensure that the fixed schedule is strictly adhered to by the prisoners. (4) Any inconvenience or breach of discipline or change or requirement shall be reported forthwith to the Superintendent by the Deputy Superintendent (Security). (5) The Director General may in his discretion, from time to time, issue detailed directions as to the manner in which the order, discipline and control shall be maintained subject to these rules.
