Subject to the rules governing grant of leave and the record to be maintained therefor, the Deputy Superintendent (Security) may grant leave of absence for a period not exceeding forty-eight hours/two days at any one time to any guarding personnel: Provided that in every case where any such leave is granted, the Deputy Superintendent (Security) shall make all necessary arrangements for the due performance of the duties of the guarding personnel to whom such leave is granted during his absence. Deputy Superintendent (Security) to search daily for prohibited articles.
