The Deputy Superintendent (Administration) shall be responsible for the following, namely: – (a) to ensure that the scales, weights and measures in use in the prison, for issue and distribution of provisions, stores and raw material are accurate and in good order and shall, before taking delivery, weigh, measure or count all stores supplied to the prison or cause the same to be done under his supervision; (b) for the state of the prison store-rooms and their inaccessibility to convicts and others not authorized to enter them.
