For the purpose of duty, the expression ‘Deputy Superintendent’ shall be deemed to include Deputy Superintendent (Administration), Deputy Superintendent (Security), Deputy Superintendent (Industries and Welfare), and every person for the time being performing all or any of the functions or duties of a Deputy Superintendent, in regard to the functions or duties so performed.
