(1) The Superintendent shall, submit to the Director General the following statements regularly, namely, – (a) returns of statistical information; (b) statements of account in respect of receipt, expenditure and property; (c) bills, vouchers, and other original documents; (d) periodic reports and other information; (2) The Superintendent shall send a monthly report based on weekly and monthly meetings to the Director General giving his overall assessment of the working of the prison. (3) The Superintendent shall fix an hour daily for interaction with staff members. During this time, the staff members may meet him and make their suggestions concerning the functioning of the prison or for redressal of personal grievances. A weekly meeting of Medical Officers and gazetted officers shall be convened and suggestions regarding the administration of prison shall be discussed and policies formulated for the efficient conduct of the prison affairs.
