(1) It shall be the duty of the Superintendent to accompany the Director General, Additional Director General, Inspector General, Additional Inspector General or Deputy Inspector General whenever that officer visits the prison for the purpose of inspection of the same or any part thereof and shall take all necessary measures to facilitate the inspection and secure the safety of the inspecting officer. (2) The Superintendent shall, if so desired, similarly accompany any official visitor during his visit to the prison. Superintendent to exercise vigilant control over receipts and expenditure.
