(1) National days shall be celebrated in each prison to inculcate patriotism among the prisoners. Cultural programs shall be organized on such occasions and special food served to the prisoners. (2) Important festivals of all religions shall be celebrated as per custom and every prisoner shall be encouraged to participate. This shall be subject to security and discipline of the prison.
