(1) The Superintendent in consultation with the Civil Surgeon, shall organize health camps at least once in every quarter or as frequently as required, for conducting a thorough check up of all the prisoners for any health related issues. For this purpose, the Civil Surgeon shall ensure the deputation of a team of specialist doctors. Arrangements shall be made to provide special treatment to those prisoners who have been identified as sick and need special attention.
