(1) The barracks, cells occupied by prisoners shall be thoroughly cleaned every morning. Doors, window-sills, gratings, and shutters shall be dusted. (2) The floors shall be mopped with a wet cloth treated with disinfectants twice a day, once in the morning and once in the afternoon. (3) The prison premises shall be white-washed as and when necessary. (4) All bathrooms and toilets shall be washed and disinfected twice a day, once in the morning and once in the afternoon. (5) Inner walls of the living area and hospital building shall be brushed and cleaned regularly. (6) All manholes and sewers shall be checked periodically to prevent blockages and overflows. (7) All beddings shall be taken out and placed in the sun once every week. Bed linen shall be washed every week. (8) Adequate cleaning arrangements including soap and sanitizers shall be made available at the entrance of the kitchen. Prisoners to bath daily.
