(1) Prisoners admitted in hospital shall ordinarily be provided with a stuffed mattress with two bed sheets, a pillow and pillow cover, a bed-side table and other needful articles as per advice of the Medical Officer. (2) All articles of clothing and bedding for hospital use shall be of green colour or shall be marked specially to be distinguished. The clothing of every prisoner shall, on his admission to hospital, be taken from him and a complete hospital outfit substituted. The prisoner's clothing shall then be washed and placed in the hospital store-room until he is discharged when it shall be returned to him. In case of death, the clothing shall be destroyed, if the Medical Officer considers such a course necessary. The Medical Subordinate shall be responsible for the care of the hospital clothing godown and the articles stored therein. Extra clothing for convalescents.
