(1) A prisoner under sentence of death shall be allowed the ordinary diet of a labouring convict. (2) All food intended for consumption by a condemned prisoner shall be examined by the Deputy Superintendent (Administration) or Assistant Superintendent or Medical Subordinate, who may withhold any article which he considered as suspicious and report the circumstances to the Superintendent.
