Undertrial prisoners shall not ordinarily be kept in Courts so late as to necessitate their admission to the prison or the lock-up after locking-up time. The Superintendent shall draw the attention of the District and Sessions Judge, Chief Judicial Magistrate and the Superintendent of Police to any instances in which this rule has not been observed.
