(1) No prisoner shall be released after the hour of lock-up for the night and before sunrise on any day, except in any administrative exigency on a reference received from the District Magistrate or the Superintendent of Police. (2) Every prisoner whose release has been ordered by a competent court or authority on any day, shall be released, as soon as possible, after the receipt of the order directing his release. However, such prisoners whose release orders are received after 06:00 PM, on any day, shall be released as soon as possible on the next day. Prisoner to produce his prison outfit on release.
