(1) Any prisoner eligible for ordinary remission, who for a period of one year from the date of his sentence or the date on which he was last punished for a prison offence, has committed no prison offence whatsoever, shall be awarded fifteen days annual good conduct remission in addition to any other remission earned under these rules. Another fifteen days sannual good conduct remission shall be awarded if a prisoner completes two years of sentence without any punishment for any prison offence. (2) If a prisoner completes three years of sentence without any punishment for any prison offence, he shall be granted sixty days annual good conduct remission for good conduct at the end of the third year. NOTE - For this rule, prison offences punished only with a formal warning shall not be taken into account. Procedure in making award.
