(1) These rules may be called the Haryana Prison Rules, 2022. (2) These rules shall apply to all prisons in the State with regard to its administration and management, staff members, convicts, under-trial prisoners, civil prisoners, female prisoners, young offenders, and detainees under preventive detention laws. (3) These rules shall come into force on the date of their publication in the official Gazette.
