There shall be one Police service for the State, constituted by the Police service State Government under this Act. Notwithstanding anything contained in any other law or any of the provisions of this Act, members of the police service shall be liable for posting anywhere in the State and outside the State as ordered by the competent authority and to any branch of the service in the State, including any of its specialised wings.
