(1) The State Government shall, by notification and with effect from such date, as may be specified in the notification, establish, for the purposes of this Act, an Authority to be called the Haryana Parivar Pehchan Authority. (2) The Authority shall be a body corporate by the name aforesaid, having perpetual succession and a common seal, with power subject to the provisions of this Act, to acquire, hold and dispose off property, both movable and immovable and to contract and shall, by the said name sue or be sued. (3) The Authority shall have its headquarters at such place, as the State Government may notify. (4) The Authority may establish its offices at other places in the State of Haryana, with the prior approval of the State Government. Constitution of Authority.
