First meeting of Zila Parishad and election of President and Vice President: (1) On the Constitution of a Zila Parishad under section 117, there shall be called the first meeting for the election of President and the Vice President by and from amongst its elected members in the manner prescribed , by the prescribed authority. (2) The meeting shall be held on such day within four weeks from the date on which the names of elected members are published by the State Election Commissioner, or any other officer authorised by him in this behalf.
