(1) The Government may, by notification, withdraw form the operation Government to of this Act, any area of any Municipal area of the Corporation: withdraw any area of municipal area from operation of Act. Provided that no such notification shall be issued unless the same has been published for inviting objections and suggestions, if any, which have been duly considered to. (2) When a notification is issued under this section in relation to any Municipal area, this Act, all notification, rules, regulations, bye-laws, orders, directions and powers issued, made or conferred under this Act shall cease to 1994 : Hr. Act 161 MUNICIPAL CORPORATION 571 apply to the said area; the balance of the Corporation Fund and all other property at the time of the issue of the notification vested in the Corporation shall vest in the Government and the liabilities of the Corporation shall stand transferred to the Government.
