Every person knowingly letting a house or other building or part of a house or building in which any penon has been suffering fmm an infectious disease, whithout having such house or other building or p& thereof and all articles therein liable to retain infection disinfected ro the satisfction of the committee, shall be liable to a penally which shall not less than [two hundred fifty rupees] and more than '[two thousand. I rupees] Explanation.- For the purpose of this section, a hote1 or lodging house-keeper shall be deemed to let part of his house to any%person admitted as a guest into his hotel or lodging-house.
