( I ) The committee may by public notice order and, if so directed by the Stale Government shall within one month of the p,,,,i, notification of such direction be deemed to have ordered, any burial or respect of burning ground situated within municipal limits or within one mile thereof burial and which is certified by the Health Officer to be dangerous to the health of bumingp'acesh persons living in the neighbourhood to be closed, from a date to be specified in the notice, and shall in such case, if no suitable place for burid, or' burning exists within a reasonable distance, pmvide a fitting pIace for the- purpose. . (2) Private burial places in" such burial grounds may be excepted from the notice, subject to such conditions as the committee
