In this Act, unless the subject or context otherwise requires,— (a) “Assembly” means the Haryana Legislative Assembly; 3[(b) “member” means a person who is or has been a member of the assembly and includes the Chief Minister, the Speaker, a Minister, a Minister of State, a Deputy Minister, the Deputy Speaker, the Chief Parliamentary Secretary and a Parliamentary Secretary; and] (c) “prescribed” means prescribed by rules made under this Act. 4[3.
