(1) The Registrar shall be a whole-time officer of the University and shall be appointed by the Vice-Chancellor with the approval of the Board from amongst the persons, having status not below the rank of a professor of the University or who is outstanding academician with techno- administrative experience in the field of Veterinary, animal sciences, fishery sciences or allied sciences. (2) The Registrar shall be the Chief Administrative Officer of the University and work directly under the superintendence, direction and control of the Vice-Chancellor. (3) The Registrar shall receive such remuneration and other emoluments, as may be prescribed.
